Very misleading. Average $100,000. Let’s break that down. I’ve made around $160,000 for the last 10 years and closer to 100,000 for 5 years before that and 17,000-30,0000 for 10 years. Therefore my average is below $100,000. But the 160,000 for the last 10 years in particular have allowed me to get in a good position. No debt, no mortgage; but not a millionaire.
You also do not state single or not. I raised a family on my income, it took years to get out of debt from that.
