Think of evolution of life on our planet. We’ve had a long time and evolved to where our brains, which to some extent are black boxes, do pretty well. But even learning a new language can be difficult.
AI(ML and DL ) are a good start. It will take time and newer methods.
I was working on this in the 80’s using Lisp. With better compute and storage, as well as better modeling, AI is evolving.
