Software solutions architect at 63. I’m at a work optional position and am slowly transitioning to thinking what would I be retiring from and what do I want to retire to. Lately getting back into my educational area of mathematics and physics. So thinking I’ll just do part time or contract work starting at 65 and slowly “retire”. Was self employed for 30 years so restarting my business, low key, is an option.
I already enjoy hiking and cycling. So that will definitely fit in.
I think it’s something to move towards slowly though.
