Regardless of what you say. Owned two houses. One increased in value over a few years enough to make $175. Sold it and paid off the other. Had money left to invest. That was my only debt for 8 years and now I have none. A large portion of income has and still goes towards investments, I’m debt free, live on a beautiful lake and feel much better and free than my renting days.
Say what you want. But home ownership works for me.
