Median is all that matters. Liquid assets are also all that should be considered. I’m lucky that I own my house and have close to a quarter million in liquid assets. It took a lot of work as a divorce at 53 wiped it all out. But at 62, I’m in good shape. But not quitting work yet as you never know.
