Interesting article but I have to disagree with programming not being an art. My article, Which are you: Programmer or Coder, sort of implies coding is not, programming is. It’s very creative in constructing functional and elegant solutions to abstract concepts. Coders are more craftsman. Not that one is better.

Also, I disagree that we don’t have new ideas. If we didn’t have new ideas, the concept of programming wouldn’t even exist.
