I think you missed the point of the Disney experience. Buying a souvenir is an experience. Especially for a kid. Child, surrounded by the excitement gets to carefully choose a toy and buy it. What a memory!

Contrast that to going home at it shows up from Amazon two days later. The child may have moved on.
