I stopped reading when you referred to index funds as compound interest. Stop spreading that misinformation. You did at least say stocks go up and down. Because if this you need at least 10 years to potentially make anything significant. Otherwise you might lose it all.

As you stated $350 for 40 years to be a millionaire. Not 5, 10 or even 20 years will get you to 1M.
