I do many of the things you mentioned. It’s all about calories burned per minute. However, be careful with the numbers. Yes doing x burns y calories. But you would have burned z anyway. So the benefit is y-z. For example, I burn about 80 calories per hour. If I walked for an hour and burn 400, I’ve burned an additional 320. Not 400.
